We would like to thank all the businesses and individuals who bought tables for the May 4th "A Taste of Spring" fundraiser for the Monroe Arts Center and shared the evening for "A Celebration of Art."
It is with sincere appreciation to Chef Hans Lenzlinger from New Glarus Hotel that we thank him for his talent and hard work in preparing an excellent fine-dining experience for all the guests in attendance. Hans developed an exquisite menu and coordinated with local restaurants, including Chalet Landhaus, Deininger's and New Glarus Bakery, all of New Glarus and Peppercorn Banquets of Monroe. We want to acknowledge the cheese donations from Chalet Cheese Co-op and Klondike Cheese Factory and Brennan's Country Farm Market for the lovely wines and Minhas Craft Brewery for contributing the tasty brews to round out the evening. We thank our venue host's, Peppercorn Banquets, especially owner Shirley Haglund and her staff, who made us feel at home, were professional and a pleasure to work with.
It is with deep gratitude that we thank the artists, businesses and individuals for their contributions to the "live and silent" auctions. Because of their generosity the "A Taste of Spring" continues to be an entertaining evening and successful fundraiser for the Monroe Arts Center. Thanks also to our consummate auctioneer Hans Bernet, assisted by "seasoned pro" Ron Spielman.
A big thank you goes to the Monroe Arts Center's Executive Director, Richard Daniels and the staff for their countless hours and tireless work to keep things running smoothly. We are very fortunate to have such dedication within the Arts Center and within our community to support the "Arts" in Monroe. Being part of the Monroe Arts Center fundraisers are a chance for all of us to give back to the community and present quality programming and gallery exhibits for all to enjoy.
