The Behring Senior Center would like to take this opportunity to say thank you to the community for the success of our annual Brat Bash. Special thanks to all of our wonderful sponsors and volunteers. This year, we sold 1,900 brats: a new Senior Center record. Thanks to all of our supporters who came to the drive thru and walk up area and made a purchase. Thanks to the many area businesses and employees who ordered brats. Thank you to all who donated supplies for the event and placed signs in their yards. Your support is a vital part of our senior program in Monroe. We were fortunate to have wonderful weather and such community dedication.
Special thanks to the Senior Center staff and Board of Directors for the months of preparation that go into making this event possible.
We must also extend a huge thank you to Morley Zimmerman for coming up with the drive thru concept many years ago.
Proceeds from the Brat Bash assist the Senior Center with program and activity costs, as well as building improvements.
