If we miss this opportunity to correct the way we pay for health care in America now, it will be a very long time before we have this chance again. How many friends and relatives do you know who, because of "a pre-existing condition" can't afford health care coverage even if they could obtain it from a health insurance company? Although I, luckily, have been a pretty healthy person, Anthem Blue Cross tried to raise my health insurance premiums to unaffordable amounts. Thank heavens I'll qualify for Medicare this year and won't have to struggle with a private insurance carrier anymore.

Everyone of our Congressmen and Senators qualifies for the cadillac government-provided health insurance that WE buy for them - No wonder they don't feel the pain of having to come up with high health insurance premiums.

Everyday 14,000 more people lose their health insurance coverage. Up to 17 million of our countrymen will be uninsured by 2019 if we don't pass health care reform now.
