As life-long residents of Monroe, we believe that Rep. Howard Marklein is the most qualified candidate for state Assembly. Howard's strong background includes both growing up on a farm in rural Spring Green, as well as private sector experience as a CPA and Certified Fraud Examiner, which give him the experience and skill set needed as our state representative.
We share Howard's values and priorities, such as balanced budgets, improving the economy, and a strong education system. In Howard's first term in the legislature, he followed through on a campaign promise to eliminate budget gimmicks and make the state government budget responsibly, the same way families and small businesses must balance their own checkbooks.
It is encouraging to see the amount of time Howard has dedicated to listening to the residents of the Monroe area. We feel it is important that we elect someone who has a true interest in the success of Monroe and Green County. He has genuinely made serving Monroe and the rest of his district a priority. He is a hard worker and someone we can trust to be our independent voice in Madison. We hope that you will join us in supporting him this November.
