To the editor:
You want leadership, then vote for Tony Gratz for Ward 7 Alder. If you want an individual who understands that the city budget is a high priority but also understands that this city desperately needs jobs, jobs, jobs, economic growth and stepped up tourism, then vote for Tony Gratz.
If you are looking for a leader who will treat all his constituates, city employees and outside vendors with class and respect, then vote for Tony Gratz. If you are looking for an individual to hold the department heads, including the police, accountable, then vote for Tony Gratz.
If you want an individual who will work with his fellow council members and department heads to ensure the growth and the well-being of Monroe, then vote for Tony Gratz. If you are looking for someone who is looking at the big picture for the future, then vote Tony Gratz.
If you want an individual who will hold the outside vendors responsible for our city's marketing plans while exploring the option of bringing these tasks back in house, then vote for Tony Gratz.
If you want a leader who realizes that we live in a wonderful city, but need to do a better job to retain and or bring back our youth, then vote for Tony Gratz. Tony realizes that these future business and community leaders along with new families are the key to sustained expansion of the city.
If you want a person who you can call to discuss a myriad of city issues and know that he's listening and will do everything in his power to help, then vote for Tony Gratz.
Here's an individual who will treat this position as an honor, a privilege, rather than a status symbol. If you want a team player who can work together with other city officials to devise a plan, put that plan into action and move the City of Monroe forward, then vote for Tony Gratz.
