My name is Justin Phillips and I'm a senior at the Virtual School of Monroe. I'm writing this letter as one of my assignments in an American Government class I am in.

I would like to bring to your readers' attention how important it is to have a school like this in our community. I was seriously considering dropping out of high school at the end of my junior year, but because of this program I was convinced to stay attending school. I have always had difficulties with school and have always required a lot of one-on-one teaching. Now, because of this program I will graduate at a pace that is easier for me.

I just wanted you and the community to know how grateful I am to have a school like this to help me, so I don't give up on myself. Thank you for your time.
