I felt distressed Saturday morning when, on my way to church, I noticed my election sign removed from my property.
I've had signs in my yard in previous years, but never had them taken or abused. Why this time? Is this election so contentious that we, as citizens, lose sight of what our forefathers fought for - freedom of choice? When we remove a sign or a rock or a post or anything that is not our own possession, without asking, we have not only broken the law of trespassing, but trampled on our Constitution.
When I hear about votes not being counted in states across America, I wonder if it all started way back when, with one person who thought it cute, mischievous or adventurous to steal in the night the liberty of another person's choice.
