Schmidt is the real deal choice

To the editor:

Every now and then, or once in a blue moon, a person comes into your life that is so different, so refreshing, and so unique, you know that you want to know this person better. One such person happened for me this past July when I met Beth Schmidt for the very first time. Beth is running for State Assembly in the new 45th Assembly District. Other than being a Village Trustee, a non-partisan position, Beth has no political experience, yet from Beth's long service from being a waitress at an Applebee's Restaurant, she is definitely one of us. Beth's face-to-face with the public has given her a down-home perspective that few long-time politicians have. Beth has been out there doing the leg work of knocking on doors, going to local governmental meetings, and working long hours seeking support. Beth won her primary in August; her opponent in that primary has endorsed her and now in the final push for State Office, Beth needs your vote. Beth is the real deal, a real working citizen representative ready to bring fresh ideas and common sense to the Wisconsin Assembly. Beth Schmidt, her time is now.
