I am opposed to H.R. 2749, the food safety bill. Government is going to put everyone out of business. Yes, food should be safe, and, yes, there have been a few problems. However, the food mostly came from different countries. The laws and regulations on the books now work, just enforce them. More laws and regulations are not the answer. The Food and Drug Administration need to do the job it has already. Don't add more.
