McCain knows how to pick them

I read the statement of Tammy Baldwin regarding John McCain's choice of Sarah Palin for vice president, as I'm sure most voters who are following the campaign did, also.

Baldwin either suffered a memory lapse or conveniently forgets that the presumptive candidate for president on the Democratic ticket has no foreign policy experience. None.

It's a bit of a stretch to say that Obama's recent trip to visit a war zone in Iraq and his speech to thousands of Germans (who, by the way, can't vote for him) is considered foreign policy experience.

Miss Baldwin also has forgotten that "Clinton's experience, skill and commitment to change, especially in the areas of health care and energy policy that drew such strong support" didn't even win her a cigar.

She also seems to conveniently forget that the majority of Americans are now in favor of drilling for oil here in this country. Yet Baldwin marches in lock step with her party and the likes of the Sierra Club over drilling here in this country.

Baldwin states that Sarah Palin is no Hillary Clinton. I say, "Thank God!"
