This November, there are many choices the voters of Green County need to make to determine the individuals who will represent them for the next few years. I would like to bring attention to the race for State Assembly. I am writing to support a candidate, Howard Marklein, for the 51st Assembly District.
As a business owner in Monroe, it is very important to me that the person who represents me and my family is accessible, dedicated, and fair. Howard Marklein is all of these things. Job creation and economic growth are a priority for Howard. He will do all he can to make sure there are good-paying jobs in our community. I share this priority with Howard. When people are able to work in Green County, they are able to live and contribute to our community. When my business needed help with DNR permitting, Howard went the extra mile to make sure we had all of our concerns addressed. Howard set up the necessary meetings to make sure our issues were resolved. We were able to secure a $15 million expansion and new jobs for Green County. I am very proud of this expansion and Howard was a vital part of getting us through the permitting process.
Howard makes constituent services his top priority. I respect his dedication to the people that he represents. We want him to represent Monroe and Green County in Madison. Please join me in supporting Howard Marklein for State Assembly on Nov. 6.
