I was excited to read the news that the Monroe Arts Center and Monroe Theatre Guild are partnering to create a radio presentation of Charles Dicken's "A Christmas Carol." However, I knew I had to write a letter to the editor when I saw that Richard Hilger is adapting and directing this radio play.I was a wardrobe dresser the season that Richard played the role of Ebeneezer Scrooge in "A Christmas Carol" for the Guthrie Theater in Minneapolis.
