To the Editor:
We in Green County are so fortunate to have a person of Todd Larson’s training, experience, and expertise to serve on our green county board!
I have been a resident of Green County for well more than a half century. I am an engaged citizen and watch the work of the Green County board of supervisors. Though I am not resident in district 25, and thus cannot vote for Todd Larson in the election on April 2, I felt it my duty to express my appreciation for Todd Larson’s service, by which all citizens of Green County benefit.
Todd’s 200+ acre family farm dates back to 1854. He takes great pride in being a community leader in responsible land stewardship and conservation efforts. It’s my personal hope that he and other county board supervisors will lead us all in the “greening” of Green County.
Todd Larson’s strong life-long pattern of fiscal responsibility began when he was a teenager — from helping on the family farm, working in a local cheese factory, and lifeguarding in New Glarus and Blanchardville.
Todd worked his way through college and obtained his law degree from one of the finest schools in the country. He has spent his life serving others: through two years in the peace corps, 20 years working for the United Nations, several years serving as a senior Presidential Appointee in the Obama Administration, and later serving all of us on the board of Green County supervisors. He has also been a board member of the Green County Humane Society and serves on the York township plan commission.
Todd’s excellent skills of budget management and consensus building make him the best candidate for district 25. Please vote for Todd Larson on April 2!
