To the Editor:

I am writing on behalf of Anna Anderson for re-election as Chairperson for the Sylvester Town Board.

I no longer live in the township; however, I am very aware of how the board functions after a consistent amount of attending the meetings. There were several recent years of discord by a few residents for their personal wishes, not for the overall welfare of the entire township’s residents. Now, things have been going smoothly due to a stable functioning board.

Anna is a very transparent leader. She is knowledgeable of state policies, fiscally responsible, and was rewarded two grants for nearly half a million dollars for road improvement. This has led to half of the township’s roads being improved in the last term. She is also very receptive  and approachable to answering any and all questions from residents.

The one thing that I found valuable with observing Anna at the meetings is her meticulous note-taking during meetings for many years — all important evidentiary details as proof of productivity and climate during the meetings.

Please vote for Anna Anderson for Chairperson of the Sylvester town board on April 1.
