To the Editor:

Democrats must do something for the survival of our country and our democracy. Republicans are putting in voter suppression laws all over this country and they will try it here in Wisconsin. Republicans refuse to realize there was no voter fraud in the 2020 election. Just because one person said the election was stolen from him and he told over 30,000 lies while he was president, Republicans shut their eyes to the truth. Sixty courts said there was no evidence of fraud. Joe Biden beat Donald Trump by seven million votes.

Now voting is under siege from the Republican Party as they go state to state attacking voter rights. They discovered that being unfair to voters is the only way they can win in an election.

I also fear the Republicans who challenge the veracity of the election are those who follow a wannabe dictator, Donald Trump. This is a national crisis and if Democrats do not become more bold and will work together, all of them, and pass federal laws against voter suppression laws that will stop what the Republicans are doing to finish off our democracy.

I love this country and will go down fighting for it for my children and my grandchildren. It is time for President Biden to quit being nice. Maybe when I tell him on 13th Street in Monroe, Wisconsin there is a huge sign that says “F--- Biden”. This is the president of the United States of America and this Republican crassness has gone way too far. American people must see Joe Biden fight with his words and the way he delivers it to tell the Republicans he is not alone as Democrats stand with him and what he is trying to do for the Middle class and the poor in this country. People — ask yourself what have Republican millionaire senators done for you in the last 4 years when Donald Trump was president? Don’t we want a democratic government where we can replace them with our vote if they are not doing the job correctly? That is what Republicans are afraid of. Since they are “do nothings” they should be scared. Come on people. You can win this fight. The 1 percent wealthy in America have 40 percent of global wealth. Just think. Get people registered to vote. Democrats have the votes to defeat Republicans at the polls. We can win.
