I am writing to express my enthusiastic support for Andrea McSherry as the ideal candidate for Green County District 16 County Board Representative. Having had the privilege of working alongside Andrea during her tenure as the Infection Preventionist at The Monroe Clinic, I can attest to her exceptional leadership, dedication, and unwavering commitment to public health.
During a particularly challenging period when the nation was bracing for the possibility of an Ebola outbreak, Andrea emerged as a trusted content expert and leader, providing invaluable guidance to our staff based on the latest guidelines from the CDC and the Wisconsin Department of Health Services. Her calm demeanor and tireless efforts were instrumental in preparing our team and ensuring the safety of our community.
Andrea is a registered nurse and a devoted community volunteer who deeply understands the needs and concerns of our district. As a mother of two young children, she is acutely aware of the importance of accessible childcare and quality educational opportunities for all families in our area. Her commitment to advocating for these essential services is truly commendable.
In addition to her professional and family roles, Andrea is actively involved in her local professional organization, the Badger Association for Professionals in Infection Control. She currently serves as president. Her leadership within this group demonstrates her dedication to advancing healthcare practices and nurturing future leaders in infection prevention.
Andrea’s roots in Green County run deep, having grown up here surrounded by family members who instilled in her the values of community service and giving back. Her genuine passion for our district’s well-being is evident in her actions and decisions.
As we approach the upcoming election on April 2nd, 2024, I urge my fellow community members to join me in casting our votes for Andrea McSherry. With her exemplary work ethic, compassionate leadership, and unwavering commitment to our district, I am confident that she will represent us with integrity and diligence on the County Board.
