To the Editor:
Rural Mutual Insurance continues to ask themselves, “what more can we do” to support our customers and communities to help keep Wisconsin Strong through the pandemic challenges. From our home office in Madison and locations throughout Wisconsin, corporately and individually we are involved with organizations to give back to our communities. With agents throughout the state of Wisconsin, we’ve recently seen a generous outpouring of donations from our agents in their local communities.
Local Rural Mutual Insurance Agent; Mike Hutchinson donated $5,000 to the Monroe Public Library renovation project. These funds will support a resigned entry and lobby, additional meeting rooms, renovations to literacy council and genealogy areas, flexible space to accommodate more community functions, update restrooms, renovations to the children’s and adult fiction areas and a new Quiet Reading Room. Mike wanted to give back to the Monroe Public Library to help the local youth. Public libraries are utilized more and more by youth. A library is a huge resource for these young people to learn, grow and expand their world. Our library is committed to providing as many of these resources as they possibly can. The renovations in this project go a long way in making it easier for our young people to take advantage of these resources.
Your community is our community. As a Wisconsin only company, Rural Mutual strives to make Wisconsin a better place to live.
