Rufer: Uphold the Constitution, don’t change it
Letter To The Editor

From Gene Rufer

Monroe

To the Editor:

I have a few ideas on the upcoming election for Wisconsin’s Supreme Court. I see some ads in favor of Janet Protasiewicz and telling us how horrible Dan Kelly is. Hopefully reasonable thinking people can check into the background and history of both. Don’t think, for a minute, that Janet Protasiewicz will be on the conservative side, of democracy, because she comes from very liberal Milwaukee. Because of her leniency, Milwaukee’s crime rate has gone up. Now we hear from her ex step-son that she is a person that performed “elder abuse” on her ex-husband multiple times. She sounds like a bad role model. Sounds like “laws for thee and not for me”. We don’t need her on the Wisconsin Supreme Court.

I sure hope Wisconsin voters remember that the left tells the voter one thing and then does the complete opposite. They do one thing and blame it on their opponent. Just look at where our economy stands today. What is happening in our economy and the world was told to us would “only happen if conservatives were in power.” Our country’s “law and order” is a mess, the economy is awful, and the world is on the verge of WW3. All this because the voters believed the lies of the left.

Judge Protasiewicz believes in full gun control, taking guns from law abiding citizens like you. If that happens only criminals will have guns, because they will not give their guns up. She also thinks that abortion should be allowed for anyone that wants one. There are many ways to “not” get pregnant if you don’t want to have children. I hope I don’t have to explain them to anyone. There are few exceptions where an abortion may be warranted because of health issues.

Abortion is murder!

If you have any concerns about where this country is headed right now, then consider voting conservative. If the USA wants to survive, then we need a court that starts to uphold all the articles of the Constitution, and not change the Constitution.
