To the Editor:
I am confused. I thought this was the United States of America where a citizen has the right of free speech. Isn’t Taylor Swift a citizen? On the surface it appears not, since all the hate, name calling and bullying Miss Swift is enduring because she chose a different path. In the America I thought I lived in, would not the proper response have been, “While I am disappointed Miss Swift is not supporting me. It his her right as an American to choose who she wants. Freedom of speech is still in the constitution.”
