To the Editor:

I have lived in Monroe for 29 years and I am running as an alder for Monroe City Council. Monroe, although a welcoming community needs to be more receptive to the needs of its citizens while being fiscally responsible. We need clean quality water and food. I feel we should support our organic agriculture industry, or do something as simple as having a community garden, so citizens can grow their own food. 

We need to improve the job market. 

We need more healthy outlets for kids to enjoy.

We need property taxes lowered. Seniors and families are struggling to stay in their homes.

My goals are to promote industry, lower property taxes, and to keep the public informed. I would appreciate your vote on April 1st.
