To the Editor:

Now that the White House puppeteers’ strings have broken, and they have chosen a new puppet, the reasons for new leadership under Donald J. Trump are overwhelming. 

The economy was humming under President Trump. Real wages were up, gas and groceries were affordable. The unemployment rate for minorities, women, and virtually everyone was at an all-time low. The African-American unemployment rate was the lowest it’s been in history. 

Under Biden, inflation, driven largely by the high cost of energy, took off. After 3 years of groceries and basic needs going up by 10-15 % a year, the Democrat cabal tries to sell a reduction in the rate of inflation as a success story, but it’s a story only a sucker would accept. Unbridled federal spending, including hundreds of billions to Ukraine, exacerbates the inflation. 

President Donald Trump achieved energy independence for the United States for the first time in 70 years. Democrats, under Biden and Harris, dismantled it.  They declared war on fossil fuels, and actively thwarted drilling and permits to drilling. Then, when gas and diesel prices went through the roof, Biden groveled to the Saudis, tail between his legs, begging the sheiks to release more oil. It was an unforgettable show of weakness. 

President Trump had the southern border under control, with increased enforcement and the Remain in Mexico policy. The Biden/Harris administration reversed these successful initiatives, initiating Catch and Release, releasing criminals into our country.  This has resulted in the release of more than 7 million criminal illegal aliens into our country giving them unconditional asylum. Americans are being raped and killed by illegal aliens and it’s all due to Biden’s and the Democrats’ policy of a wide open border. The most recent example being Laken Riley, one of many who was murdered by an illegal alien, a criminal who was allowed to be in our country by Biden’s and Harris’ Democrat policies. 

The Democrats are obsessed with the alphabet soup of gay rights, and have conflated it to include measures to allow men into women’s sports, locker rooms and bathrooms. This is insanity. The Democrats’ rabid endorsement of abortion immorally ignores the rights of the innocent unborn child.

If Democrats remain in power, the America we know is doomed. Donald Trump for president is the only sane and logical choice.
