From The Darlington Cross Country Team and Coaches

To the Editor:

Each year the Darlington Cross Country team runs a relay across Wisconsin from Lake Michigan to the Mississippi River to raise money and awareness for our county Relay for Life for the battle against cancer. On the first day we run from Lake Michigan to Monroe, and for the past six years Tom and Kate McGuire have graciously provided pizza and drinks for all of our runners and their families, which is very much appreciated by everyone, especially after a long day on the road.

People like Tom and Kate make living in small town America special, because you know that someone will always be there for you. Someday we will win the fight against cancer and it will be a result of individuals who gave of their time and money to support the ongoing research. A big “Thank You” to the McGuires and everyone else who make that effort.
