To the editor:

After hearing from President Donald Trump’s Supreme Court nominee, Judge Amy Cone Barrett, she was selected because President trump wanted a clone to mimic his wishes to eliminate mainly Obamacare, Roe versus Wade, the voting rights act and others. If Republican Donald Trump is so convinced he’s going to win another term and beat Democrat Joe Biden, he should have waited until after the election to nominate her. Evidently, he feels he isn’t doing very well in the debates, as well as the Town Halls.

Already, a lot of the votes have been cast by absentee ballot, which is a great way to vote. No long lines to stand in and virtually safe from getting the COVID-19 virus. I have in my front yard, signs promoting Democrats, Joe Biden for President, Mark Pocan for U.S. Congressman, and Kriss Marion for Wisconsin State Assembly even though I’m not a registered Democrat.

I am definitely a conservative and I feel the Democrats definitely handle our economy better especially when Barack Obama was President and Joe Biden was Vice-President. One of the main number one reasons is to protect the Affordable Care Act also known as Obamacare, which protects pre-existing conditions. When you get old, particularly with the COVID-19 virus around, it’s no time to find out your medical bills are not getting paid, which Republican President Donald Trump is bound and determined to achieve by eliminating Obamacare.

The best way to protect Obamacare is to vote Republican President Donald Trump out of office and vote Democrat Joe Biden into office as president. Make sure you vote and take nothing for granted. It’s the party that has the most desire to win will win.
