Gregory: Thank you to Turner Hall
Letter To The Editor

From Patricia Gregory

Monroe

To the Editor:

A huge thank you to Turner Hall for their Bountiful Thanksgiving Buffet. The atomosphere in the Ratskellar was extremely welcoming and festive. The food was abundant and delicious. The staff was very friendly, kind and efficient. I was especially impressed by the beautiful young ladies who effectively helped keep our empty plates cleared from the table. My guests, who came from Madison, Cross Plains and German Valley, and I truly enjoyed our precious family time together made possible by the good folks of Turner Hall. Our experience could not possibly have been better.

A big thank you to Saint John’s Church, Saint Clare of Assisi Parish and Union Presbyterian Church for the beautiful and very meaningful Thanksgiving Eve prayer service. Saint John’s is a gorgeous and inspiring church which was enhanced by the lovely addition of the autumn and harvest decorations. The scripture readings, Reverend Hackman’s message, the video presentation, the prayers and the music were perfect. The uplifting “Bells Call Us to Worship” started the service in exactly the right way. This ecumenical celebration gave us a wonderful opportunity to begin our Thanksgiving in absolutely the best manner with the emphasis on the importance of graditude. Thank you to all who made it possible.

Congratulations to the State Champion Monroe High School football team players, staff and families. All your dedication, hard work and amazing skills are a wonderful gift to Monroe. With all the negativity in today’s world your tremendous efforts have been a completely pleasant and uplifting boost to each of us. You should be proud of your inspiring accomplishments. Thank you.

People in Monroe are truly lucky and blessed and have many reasons for much graditude!
