To the Editor:

How much more mis-information can we endure? Crazy things happen every minute of every day that are meant to confuse us. Today I am focusing on the very important Wisconsin Supreme Court election on April 1st. I urge you to focus too. Our choice is clear. As Wisconsinites we must trust Judge Susan Crawford to protect us and be a fair and impartial member of the court. As a judge, she has presided over tough trials, including homicide, sexual assault, and domestic violence cases. She has always prioritized following the law and getting the facts right to ensure everyone appearing in her courtroom receives a fair and impartial trial. Her opponent has been blasting the airwaves with lies. The truth is that Judge Crawford sentenced the individual mentioned in the false ad to a 10-year sentence, with four years in prison followed by six years of strict supervision. He’s twice filed for a new trial, which Judge Crawford has denied, and he’s not reoffended, unlike dozens of domestic abusers and other violent criminals that Brad Schimel has let walk with little to no sentences. I believe Judge Crawford will always uphold our rights and freedoms. As a former prosecutor, attorney, and now as a Circuit Court Judge, Susan Crawford has dedicated her life to upholding the law, protecting our constitution, and improving public safety. She’s running for Wisconsin Supreme Court to protect the basic rights and freedoms guaranteed to us under our constitution. VOTE April 1st — Judge Susan Crawford for Supreme Court Justice.
