Monroe
To the Editor:
I have just moved to Monroe and I understand the city puts fluoride in the public water supply. I called the mayor’s office and spoke with Ms. Douglas, the mayor, and told her I did not want to be drinking fluoride in my water and if they can remove it. She called the water dept., then called me back and said they don’t need it in our water anymore since its in the toothpaste since the 1950s. The city of Albany, WI took it out of their water as many cities across the U.S. are. It’s not allowed in Europe because they know its poison to the body. I would encourage everyone on Monroe’s water supply to do your own research online about fluoride negative health effects on living organisms i.e. people, pets, plants, etc and call the mayors office and demand its removal from our water supply: Mayor Donna Douglas, 608-329-2526.
