Citizens of Monroe —
Why not add to Abraham Lincoln school and turn it into the building for future High school students?
Why not move those grade school students to existing schools?
Why not take the current classrooms and turn those into office space, add on all new classrooms for the future with new basketball courts and new locker rooms and art center?
Why not extend the current building behind it and to the side of it for new space that would be needed to teach future leaders?
Why not save as much precious farmland as possible?
Why not turn present football field into future practice field?
Why not tear present building down and turn it into new football field and stadium and parking area?
Why not use current acreage just in a new way?
Why not purchase additional land needed next door to existing location — pay a premium for more land next to the armory but save millions in the end?
Why not get it done for less than 88 million?
Why not think of all the ways we would be saving money and still be getting new classrooms for the future students?
Why not?
