Bigler/Tschudy: Retired law enforcement shows support for Phillipson
Letter To The Editor

From Bill Bigler, Retired, Law Enforcement, 34 years

and David J. Tschudy, Retired, Law Enforcement, 31 years

Green County

To the Editor:

We write in support of Faun Marie Phillipson for our next Green County Circuit Court Judge. We’ve devoted our professional careers to the field of law enforcement. We know that Phillipson understands and appreciates the important partnership that exists between law enforcement and the communities of Green County.

Her years of experience practicing law and her community involvement are second to none. Phillipson has practiced law for more than 20 years. She has a diverse legal practice representing both sides. She’s had cases in numerous courtrooms, both state and federal, around the country.

Phillipson was born and raised in Green County, and has demonstrated her commitment to the community in many ways. She volunteers as a tutor with the Green County Literacy Council, providing one-on-one tutoring to adult learners, and has been a coach of the New Glarus High School Mock Trial team for more than 10 years, teaching students the fundamentals of courtroom and trial procedure and legal analysis.

We trust that Phillipson’s experience and integrity will make her an excellent judge. She is straightforward, intelligent, experienced and community-minded. We are voting PHILLIPSON FOR JUDGE on April 6, and we encourage you to do the same.

The deadline to submit a Letter to the Editor regarding the April 6 election is noon, Wednesday, March 24. Letters submitted after the April 6 deadline will not be published.

No Letters to the Editor regarding the election will be published in the Saturday, April 3 edition of the Times.
