From Michael Bender
Monroe
To the Editor:
The generosity of the people of Monroe made it possible for the Pathfinder club of the local Seventh-day Adventist church to deliver 3,356 pounds of food and other necessities to the Green County Pantry.
This says a lot about the great citizens of Monroe. Some really special and generous people live there. Many thanks to all those who did the hard part of distributing the bags and picking them up.
Also, many thanks to Farm and Fleet for donating the badly needed bags.
Those big tough bags were a blessing as they are also water proof. We highly recommend the new store, I’m certain you will like the products they sell. Hopefully you will be watching for next year’s collection.
