To the editor:
As the superintendent of the Brodhead School District, it is a privilege to support the United Way. As the number of families and students that require assistance grows, it is imperative that communities continue to offer programs that can serve their needs. The United Way is one of those organizations that help make it possible for these families to succeed.
The United Way offers a vast array of programs that help support families in need. Their Big Brothers/Big Sisters program is a great example that relates directly to the success of young students in our community. The partnership between the Untied Way and our district has provided young students with an older person that they can look up to as well as receive help from. The United Way also offers programs that are designed to help address homelessness, child care, dental care, tutoring, and counseling. Their work and commitment to the people of Green County is a true asset for everyone.
The School District of Brodhead is proud to work in partnership with the United Way. We truly appreciate what this organization provides our students and community.
