A great big thank you to the many St. Clare of Assisi parish families for donations to the annual Back to School Clothing and School Supply event sponsored by the Catholic Daughters of the Americas, Court Mazzuchelli No. 2609.
Thank you to the volunteers of the CDA and spouses, Mr. Joe Peters, Jim Riddle and staff, Monroe schools volunteers, the taekwondo students and youth of the Optimist club. Also a big thank you to a large local business for clothing donations and cheese for the volunteers. This is a fine example of a village helping a child, or better yet, children.
