The National Association of Letter Carriers, in partnership with the United States Post Office, would like to say "thank you" to all the people who helped make our Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive a record-breaking success. We collected more than 7,500 pounds of food, and $110, which went directly to the Green County Food Pantry. Thank you to each and every one of you who put food out by your mailbox. What an amazing outpouring of generosity!

Thank you to the many retired carriers who helped collect food, and all the food pantry volunteers who spent the whole day at the post office, sorting the food and efficiently packing it away for easy access. Thanks also to Pizza Hut for donating pizza for all the volunteers. This is a crucial time of year for the children who are food insecure, with school programs that ensure they don't go hungry coming to the end for the summer. Thanks to all of you who donated, they will not go hungry this summer. It makes my heart swell to see this generosity first-hand.

Thanks again!
