Monroe

To the editor:

I would like to express my support for Teresa Keehn as a write-in candidate for the Monroe school board in the April 3 election. I have known Teresa for many years, first as a student in the Monroe schools, and then as an educator in the Howard's Grove school district, and now as an active community member. Recently, Teresa returned to Monroe with her husband Kyle and their three children. Since arriving, Teresa has dedicated herself to community service. She is a member of this year's class of Green County Leaders, works with United Way, is active in her church, and has taken on the leadership of a MAC committee for kids in the arts. She is eminently qualified to be a school board member for many reasons. She is a strong and knowledgeable advocate for children and families. She has valuable experience in the field of education. She is also a dedicated worker, creative thinker, and a thoughtful and intelligent young woman. I believe she will make an outstanding school board member.

The election for school board members will take place on April 3rd. There are two people running for three open positions. Teresa would like to be considered as a write-in candidate for the third position. Please join me in supporting Teresa's desire to serve the children of Monroe.
