From James Plourde

Monroe

This year my granddaughter began kindergarten in the Monroe School District and I would like to help ensure that she receives the same type of quality education afforded to my own children by the district. That is why I have decided to run for a seat on the Monroe School Board this spring.

A quality education for all is a necessity in today's technologically driven, ever-changing world. At the same time, schools are being faced with unprecedented economic, academic, and social challenges. I feel that my 26 years of teaching experience provide a foundation for the evaluation of educational best practices as well as insight into upcoming educational initiatives. Also, employment as a substitute teacher for the Monroe School District has allowed me insight into the district's policies, practices, and procedures.

Please consider voting for me, James Plourde, on the April 1 ballot and thank you for your support. I look forward to serving you as a member of the Monroe School Board.
