To the editor:
As we prepare for the next election cycle, I have decided to support Leah Vukmir for U.S. Senate.
Leah is my colleague in the Wisconsin State Senate and my friend. She has demonstrated strong leadership and passionate courage for the issues that are important to her and to all of us. Leah is never afraid to tell you what she believes and to fight for the best interests of all Wisconsinites.
As a registered nurse, Leah represents the healthcare community as well as women throughout the state with vigor. She is an intelligent, savvy, astute leader who will do the same for all of us in Washington D.C. She shares our values, and we need these values to be represented in the U.S. Senate. Wisconsin needs a strong, positive, effective voice, and Leah will speak for us.
Leah works hard to understand our issues. As her colleague, Leah often turned to me for advice and input about rural issues. Even though she comes from a suburban part of the state, she always seeks more information to fully understand the perspectives of those who will be impacted by the decisions she makes. Leah will work hard to understand and represent rural Wisconsin as a part of the U.S. Senate.
