To the editor:
LaVern Isely comments are right on target. I also believe every ward should have an alderperson to represent each ward. You need to hire LaVern as an editorial writer. He's one of the most intelligent people we have in Monroe, and he presents himself and his thoughts extremely well.
At the next public hearing, put LaVern in charge. His ideas make a lot more sense than the clowns we have in there now. No we don't have time to complain once the damage is done. Monroe has been long neglected in common sense (ie: the parking ramp) and having LaVern around would bring stability to the city council.
I may not always agree with him, but on this issue, he's totally correct. Monroe needs more better paying jobs, less bars, better restaurants and less incompetency from our city council.
