To the editor:
Hooray to Diane Vance for her letter in the April 2, 2018 edition of The Monroe Times titled "Today's leadership lacks bravery." She really told it like it is. She states "We have a government led by the rich." It reminds me of the account of the bombing of Wall Street in 1920. Will we never learn? I had seen reference to that tragedy on PBS. The Monticello Public Library was kind enough to find a book on the subject through the South Central Library System entitled "The Day Wall Street Exploded" by Beverly Gage. While reading this book I was amazed - Truly history does repeat itself and it's very scary!
