To the editor:
I wrote a letter to the editor a year ago saying it "was time to tell the truth." I went on to write that "Donald Trump lies as easily as I drink my tea. How can you trust a man that plays with truth as if it were a yo-yo."
I also wrote as a question: "Republicans want this type of person to be our president?" I went on to write that readers must think of their self-preservation. That is more important now than a year ago. Why? Because in my opinion President Donald Trump is in collusion with the Russians. It is possible now that we are being ruled to some degree by the Russians because they controlled our presidential election. We don't know yet how deeply involved Trump is with the Russians. But it is enough to make him lie and lie and lie.
If readers think that is not a big deal I hope they saw the picture of Russian dictator Vladimir Putin laughing at us and what he caused in our government. And with Trump at the helm he can do more. Turn on your TV news and read your newspapers if you haven't done it. It's all there.
So what is your civic duty? If you truly love this country, you must write or phone your senators and representatives in Washington, DC and tell them to impeach Trump and Mike Pence along with him. If you want, you can protest.
If you think this is something that will just go away, it won't. The Republicans have control of the Senate and the House of Representatives. It is up to them to call for the impeachment of Trump.
I hope people will tell them to do that as soon as possible. There are investigations going on right now. Any support to impeach Trump you can give to our representatives would be great.
