Monroe
To the editor:
We are supporting Bob Erb in his candidacy for the Monroe School Board. We have known Bob for over six years, and during that time have sought his guidance on many educational issues and opportunities for our two children.
Having been a member of the Monroe school board since 2006, Bob has a proven track record of putting the success of the students and schools in Monroe first and foremost. He puts his time and energy into focusing on efforts to provide an environment where all students can succeed.
We have personally witnessed Bob's support for a well-rounded education for the students of Monroe, including exposure to and opportunities in the arts, athletics and numerous extra-curricular academic and leadership programs. His commitment in this area carries over to his involvement in the community as well. Bob and his wife Wendy have been strong supporters of many community organizations and initiatives which have helped Monroe remain a great place to raise a family.
Bob doesn't shy away from the difficult issues. He has a keen ability to look at the big picture and consider all facets of an issue, and moves forward with only the best interests of our students, teachers and community in mind.
