retired judge

Green County Circuit Court and Wisconsin Court of Appeals

Monroe

To the editor:

Judge Rebecca Dallet is by far the more qualified and experienced candidate to take a seat on our state's high court. She has ably served the citizens of Wisconsin as a Milwaukee County Circuit Court Judge for the past 10 years. Prior to that, she spent over 10 years as a prosecutor at both the state and federal levels, as well as teaching trial advocacy part-time at Marquette University Law School.

Judge Dallet understands that it is not the role of a Justice on the Wisconsin Supreme Court to make the law fit one's personal ideology. Rather, in her time on the bench, she has demonstrated independence, fairness and impartiality, qualities that will make her an outstanding addition to our supreme court.

In short, Judge Dallet has earned the respect and confidence of the citizens of Wisconsin. That is why I and some 200 other present and former judges statewide have endorsed her candidacy.

Please vote for Judge Rebecca Dallet for Wisconsin Supreme Court on Tuesday, April 3.
