On April 3rd, the State of Wisconsin will once again elect a Supreme Court Justice. I am writing to endorse Rebecca Dallet. I believe she is the most qualified to serve. She is intelligent, fair, experienced and has proven judicial temperament. She is precisely what our Supreme Court needs at this time. The last several elections to the Court have been heavily politicized and the Court's reputation has suffered as a result.
I am familiar with Judge Dallet's judicial skills and reputation and have no doubt that she would be an excellent Supreme Court Justice. She has kept her campaign focused on issues that are pertinent to the position and not on polarizing political issues. Her opponent, regrettably, a political appointee, has not followed that course. His ads follow that familiar pattern of "character assassination," utilizing misrepresentations and half-truths that we've all seen before. As informed and intelligent citizens, I ask you to see through this tactic of negative campaigning and vote for Judge Rebecca Dallet on April 3rd.
It's a first step in bringing integrity and balance back to the Court.
