To the editor:
Regarding the Condo project on the city-owned parking lot along the 800 block of 16th Avenue.
The members of the Green County Historical Society at their June 15 annual meeting went on record as being opposed to this project. The parking lot is directly north of the Museum and there is limited parking otherwise.
In May I sent a letter to the Mayor and all Alderpersons expressing my objections and offering alternate location for the Condo. To date, no one has responded to my letter.
P.S. I agree with LaVern F. Isley that increasing the number of Alderpersons and having at-large elections is a bad idea.
