From Amy Bazley
Monroe
To the editor:
My name is Amy Bazley and I am asking for your support on April 7. I am running for re-election to the Monroe school board. I have served on the school board since 2008 and wish to continue to serve our schools, students and community. I have been committed to bringing quality education to our students by making sure they are fully prepared for the future, secure in the knowledge that they leave Monroe schools ready for college or career.
Since coming on the board, I have had the privilege of working on new and exciting initiatives in education. I also have been working with our teachers, staff and administrators on many of the challenges facing educators today. There is no doubt that these challenges will continue; but I am confident that all of those whose decisions impact our students, will embrace the initiatives and rise to the challenges in educating the children of Monroe.
All the members of the current board are dedicated to giving the students of Monroe the best education possible, always putting the interests of the students first.
I would encourage you to vote not only for me, but also for Mary Berger and Bob Erb, the other incumbents on the ballot. Together, we can continue to insure that students, teachers, staff and administrators have the support they need to keep Monroe schools moving forward.
