To the editor,

It's hard to believe a year has passed since that warm spring day when we welcomed patients into our new hospital.

Since that time we've introduced interventional cardiology, added two new urology physicians, announced the need to start construction on our eight "shelled" inpatient rooms and welcomed more than 400 babies into the world.

The communities' support has been tremendous. We've received rave reviews about the natural lighting and views, local art and all together healing environment.

I have to say, it's not just the building that makes this first birthday so special, but the dedicated Monroe Clinic team. Our providers, nurses, support staff, and volunteers are what get our patients back to living life sooner. The building is just part of the story.
