To the editor:

A Democratic Governor Candidate Forum, free to the public, was held at Monroe Arts Center on July 17.

The forum was hosted and sponsored by the Democratic Parties of Grant, Green, Iowa and Lafayette counties; the South Central Chapter of the Wisconsin Farmers Union and the Green County Round Table.

A special thank you to Scott Thompson, who emceed, and Todd Houser of BIG Radio for their work on the live radio broadcast of the forum.

There are important primary elections on August 14, and absentee ballots are available now for those who will not be present to vote at the polls on election day.
