The Apparitions MC and ABATE of Green County are proud to once again be having our annual "Toys for Tots" fundraiser for the Green County Foster Program. In the last two years, we have raised almost $10,000 that was used to provide clothing and other items to kids who often come into foster care with nothing. These kids range from infants to teenagers.
This year's event will be Dec. 4 at the Roller Den in Monroe. There will be a $10 cover at the door or a toy donation of equal value. We will be starting at 7 p.m. with a band playing at 8 p.m. We will be having raffles and auctions throughout the evening. This is where we need your help.
We are counting on donations of money or items to be raffled or auctioned off to make this year a successful event. With your help we can raise even more this year for foster kids. No item or amount is too small, and of course we'd love to have everyone attend the party as well.
If you are unable to attend the fundraiser, please consider donating an item. Keep in mind there are a lot of teens in the program as well. While we get a lot of toys for younger kids, we often fall short on teen-appropriate items. We have several drop- off spots in Green County. They are: French Quarter in Monroe; Eagle Pass Saloon in Monticello; Last Chance Saloon in Juda; and Ott Haus Pub in New Glarus
