Cutting off Pleasant View unimaginable
Placeholder Image
Since my mother has been at Pleasant View for almost seven years, I have had frequent contact with the staff and I am very familiar with the facility. The employees always are very busy, very professional and show a great deal of compassion to the residents. I cannot imagine how they could possibly cut staff and still maintain the required care that they so competently provide.

Economic times are tough. They can quickly become much tougher when skilled nursing care is needed for an elder loved one with Alzheimer's, or when a much younger person needs short-term care as a result of an accident or illness . Green County has had a proud history of "taking care of their own," and while I no longer live there, I still am a Cheesemaker at heart. I hope the people who oppose the referendum realize that they too could be in need of the care offered at Pleasant View, regardless if they are young or old.
