On Sept. 8, 2012, we will be hosting our 8th Annual Fall Parkinson Ride as a fundraiser for the research and support of those afflicted with this terrible disease. The profits from this event will go to the WPA (Wisconsin Parkinson Association).
The ride will leave from Eagle Pass Saloon in Monticello at 11 a.m. and will come back to Apparitions MC Club House, Holstein Prairie Road, Monticello. Upon our return, we will be giving away door prizes and having a live auction.
This event is especially important to us because three of the organizers have watched loved ones struggle with the disease. Although they eventually lost their battles, their memories are still with us. We are trying to help find a cure so others do not have to suffer the same way they did.
To help make this event possible, we are asking area business owners for prizes and donations.
Many business owners have donated goods or services for this event, helping us to make our ride a success.
As of last year, we were able to raise more than $35,000. If you can help us in any way, please contact us for pick-up or drop off any donations at Eagle Pass Saloon in Monticello.
