A blossom to WEKZ and its affiliate stations >for streaming the Cheesemaker football and basketball games this season, and to the paper >for providing action pictures of the events. We're not close enough to see our niece and nephew playing, and children of our friends, but we can listen to the games in Georgia. Go Cheesemakers! - Karen Hermanson Ingwell>

A blossom to all the middle school parents and staff >who made the transition of making it so much better for dropping off our children. I appreciate your concern for safety for my daughter, as well as other students. Keep up the great job! - Jodi L. Gallagher >

A blossom to the Rev. Pat Soddy,> pastor of Albany United Methodist Church, for her wonderful Reflections column that ran Saturday, March 8, in the Stateline Buyers Guide. I would like to offer a bouquet of blossoms for the Monroe cheerleading squad and their coach, Chris Waldman. >These girls practiced during the entire basketball season so they could perform cheers, stunts and dances for the players, students and spectators at every girls and boys home basketball game and playoff game. Thank you cheerleaders, for your spirit and dedication. - Mark Fetterolf>

A blossom to the nine students from the Monroe High School National Honor Society >who spent last Sunday working the phone banks for the Wisconsin Public Television pledge drive. They collected over $12,000 in pledges during their shift. - Karen Fowdy>

A huge blossom to Heather Lisser> and her letter to the editor in the Wednesday, March 12, edition of The Monroe Times. I'm a GCHS member and volunteer who would like to see the no-kill shelter successful with a goal of a new building in the future. To meet these goals the "finger pointing and sour-grapes" has to stop. I'm tired of reading about it and I'm sure I'm not alone. It's the welfare of the animals that's most important so let's support the current board and start working together to achieve those goals. - Kathy Dreikosen, Monroe>
