A blossom to Mrs. Dawn Egli, >the YMCA's Wiggles and Giggles teacher. She is wonderfully creative and wildly fun. My daughter is in love with Dawnie and her Wiggles and Giggles class. Thanks for doing such a great job. - Tara Garry, Monroe>

A blossom to the St. Victor's confirmation class.> I also would like to thank you for the beautiful homemade valentine's card. Thanks for remembering our seniors. - Hilda Gille>

A blossom to The Monroe Times> for the highly useful information from their weather page, especially now. - Lee Rasmussen, Monroe (I support the troops - Bush is on his own.)>

A barb to Mayor Marsh and Charles Koch >for the sidewalk project. I was wondering if anyone ever got hurt by walking where there is no sidewalks. In our area, there is no sidewalks. If six people walk our block in a day, that's something. This puts another expense on the senior citizens for owning their home. Then a lot of them have to hire someone to shovel the walk for all the people using their sidewalk. - Disgusted taxpayer>

A blossom to Juda School District students >for having the forethought to try and raise money for the Humane Society after they were bombarded with seized dogs. Nice job everyone!

A blossom to Monroe Middle School student Carissa Brooks >on her winning flag design. Looks like her flag is very depicting of Wisconsin lifestyle.

A blossom to the staff and volunteers at the Green County Humane Society >for stepping up to the plate and taking in the mistreated dogs this past week. I understand it is the Humane Society's responsibility to handle situations like this, but they are obviously going to have to make provisions to take care of all these animals.

And a blossom to Rep. Brett Davis, R-Oregon, >for his continuing work with education and his continued support of agriculture in this state. Keep up the good work, Brett! - Jeff Ditzenberger, Monticello>
